The Alchemy Unit was formed in 2004 by guitarist and songwriter, Ash Umhey. Things began to take shape with the release of the Moon Strings on the Fringe album in 2006. The next album entitled Eprouvette Ascenseur was recorded over three years and features 23 tracks.
